INTRODUCTION
Microsoft Power Platform is a low-code platform of products that enables business users to build custom business applications and automate processes without requiring extensive technical knowledge or resources.
It includes five main components: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages
Power BI is a business intelligence tool that helps users to analyze data and create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
Power Apps allows users to create custom business apps that can run on any device. It offers a visual interface for designing and building apps without writing code.
Power Automate enables users to automate repetitive tasks and workflows, integrating with over 300 different apps and services, such as Office 365 and SharePoint.

This 8-hour hands-on course provides an overview of the core components that make up Microsoft’s Power Platform.
Delivery Method
The class is delivered in a Hands-On Session (either live in-person or virtual) for up to 15 students.
Target Audience
The course is designed to teach businesspeople without any programming skills how to become Citizen Developers, creating custom solutions using low code / no code functionality.
Technical Level
The course is taught for level 100 Beginner, through level 200 intermediate skilled workers.
Prerequisites
To participate in hands-on exercises, students will need a Microsoft 365 license with usage rights for Power BI, Power Automate, Powerapps, and Power Virtual Agents. These licenses come with Microsoft 365 subscriptions. No Pro or Premium licenses are needed for the training.

An introduction to common services including data connectors, AI/ML Libraries, and Microsoft’s Dataverse.
A demo that showcases the business value of the Power Platform and low code, no code development.

Hands-on exercises to create simple reports and dashboards using Power BI
An explanation of DAX and building measures and calculated columns in reports.
