Sekhar Kammula

As an accomplished director, Sekhar has represented Indian cinema at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. He made his debut with Dollar Dreams in the year 2000, which won the national film award for the best first film of a director. His other notable works include Anand (2004), Godavari (2006), Happy Days (2007), Life is Beautiful (2012), and Fidaa (2017).

Sekhar Kammula is a talented cinematographer who uses simple narratives to portray thought-provoking stories through his movies. He is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. At Feuji, Sekhar contributes through his out-of-the-box ideas and strategic thinking.

Sekhar has bagged several Filmfare and national awards throughout his successful career. He continues to create movies that are well received by audiences and are commercially successful at the box office.

Prior to working in the film industry, Sekhar worked in the IT industry for a few years. He has done his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology and an MS in Computer Science from the University of New Jersey. He has also completed his master’s in Fine Arts from Howard University in Washington DC.
